Gary Jenkins was professional, friendly and very knowledgeable. He was very easy to work with. We had used the same consultant for 5 years, and was concerned about finding someone new, but he made the transition very smooth and made us feel like we had known him for years.

Filed my taxes today, and it was a terrible experience. The preparer had to be reminded quite a bit that we had more stuff to file. I had to watch over him constantly and correct his mistakes, and verify his math constantly. I get it he was an older gentleman who moved slow, but I paid over $700 just to file. 2 LLCs, stocks trades, a 1099, and a W2. I believe he missed a bunch of write offs, but what is the worst is I had to constantly tell him “you’re typing in the wrong field”, “sir you’re on the wrong document”, “you added that wrong” I mean the hell did o pay for? $700+ for incompetency.

Been using hr block for the last few years haven’t had an issue until I came to this branch. First person that filed got my taxes rejected. Second person who tried on the same day spent more time asking me what things on the screen meant and really seemed confused. He filed it again last night and they were once again rejected by the irs today. Was told at 930am they’d get on it and call me back this afternoon….I haven’t heard anything back from them about it yet and it’s 7pm now.I’m just a plumber with a wife and a couple kids. Regular W-2 nothing more and they can’t figure it out. Sure, we can all do them ourselves but they offer a service that we’re supposed to be able to trust and clearly we cannot. My bad experience isn’t with the block as a whole but it’s definitely with this specific office on little road in new port richey. My advice is find another branch cause this one is hit or miss at best.

Called and talked to representative today (Sunday). She was very friendly, very knowledgeable, answering my questions very clearly. I will at least take my return in for paper review before filing and, if I get stuck I will take the package in for their completion. Except for my two questions today my returns are very simple.

It's definitely easier but not worth 300+ more dollars. Do it yourself. I've been going for 7+ years to HR Block and have never got a discount or any extra protection thrown in. I'll just do it myself and save money. I like that it's easier but the price gouging is ridiculous.

I use you all every year but I absolutely loved Lisa and she helped me a lot in filing my taxes this year! I would definitely recommend her to everyone!
