I don't recommend this office to anyone with epilepsy. The nurse practitioner changed my medication, which caused severe side effects. When I wanted to get an appointment to get new medication, it took months. They told me I could go to the emergency room if I wanted to see someone sooner than that. They said I could not see anyone else in the office other than my assigned PA.
Recently, I had a seizure and need an appointment, the soonest appointment is six months. The said if I change providers I can see someone next month.
So sometimes the policy is that you can't change providers. Other times the policy is that you can. The policies of this office are enough to drive anyone crazy.
If you make the poor decision of making an appointment with this office, plan to wait in the waiting room for quite some time.
The doctor even left a 5-star review for his own practice.
I am looking for a new neurologist.

I have been with Dr.Sadek for 6 years and his staff has been nothing but the best. His nurse practitioner Kristen is awesome! They have provided me with more than enough information to deal with my condition and are always suggesting other alternatives to help me out even more. I would recommend others to his office.

This office so far has been the worst place I’ve been seen for my epilepsy, not only am I a new patient here but I also never saw a doctor only a nurse practitioner who after one visit prescribed me two new medications that interacted with all my anti seizure medication, then I saw scheduled for an eeg and mri, told to come back to the office on that day only to find out that it was never put into the system so I didn’t even have an appointment plus I was never told that I had to go somewhere else for the mri. On top of all that the receptionist is really rude and ignorant to all patients who come in. Therefore I think I will be looking into a better place to help me since this office seems to be clearing very unprofessional.

Got discharged from the care of Dr. Sadek due to the irresponsibility from the staff. Every time I went to that office I updated my information and never got updated. It is a shame I am going through this. Dr. Sadek is an excellent specialist and while I was under his care my seizures were under control but not my migraines. The manager from the office very unprofessional and lacks care for patients.

Professional and Courteous. Dr Sadek spent a good amount of time explaining my wife's condition, answering all our questions and made sure we have no further questions or notes before ending the visit. Wait time was very reasonable.

Office staff was rude and argued about co-pay price. Stated clearly on my insurance card the price for a specialist. Been going there for 18 years and I won't EVER recommend this office. However Awilda is a saint and we love how she cares for everyone. Maybe if the rest of the staff would take a bit of her kindness they'd understand what a Dr.s office is meant to be. I too have met the so called "Specialist" in which I'm paying a premium for. Now being in the business I am, I have the opportunity to interact with many dr's and attorneys. Funny statement is when general practitioners tell me Nuerologists and Nuero Surgeons have the biggest ego, I'd have to agree. When one goes to the Dr's office, you are weighed everytime. Especially if you are taking a medication. The bodies weight effects your ability to break down the dosage. That's Pharmacology 101. So not being weighed and then questioning my numerologist must have bruised his ego. Since I was sent to his partner who I met once. Then off to the NP. So now after reading the reviews and with the rude treatment today, I'm finished with this office. Again been there for 18 years. The rude girl was probably in diapers when I started there. Will miss Heng and Awilda.

People should know that when they make an appointment with "Dr. Sadek" they will be paying the premium of seeing a "specialist" without actually seeing a specialist. Instead you will be fobbed off on his nurse practitioner who will then attempt to treat you rote by the book (or internet page) on your condition, and without any understanding of your condition as it effects you or any awareness of your medical history, will attempt to over-prescribe you medication you have a bad reaction to, insisting that it is a "standard dose" and what you should be taking, even though you have a 8 year history with the medication and know that you need a far less heavy prescription. They will also will tell you that they know better than you what your reaction to the medication is, because they are looking at the top five side effects on Some Internet Page and your side effect isn't listed so therefore, it's not the medication causing the problem, it's obviously something else wrong, let's do more tests to find out what it is! (And I am not exaggerating, the NP actually, right in front of me, looked up my medication on the internet and told me my well-documented side effect didn't exist). Uh, no. My co-pay for a "specialist" visit is $60 and I paid that to be treated by a nurse who had no more understanding of my condition or medical history than the man in the moon and I never saw the actual specialist I'd paid for. I recognize that nurse practitioners have a valuable place in the community and can take the place of a lot of basic medical care, but they should not be used in place of an actual specialist, when one is paying for it, and one has a serious medical condition that requires more than surface understanding of the condition gleaned from googling it. They lack the experience or the awareness to recognize that people are not cookie cutter copies of one another, and shocker, some people react differently and need different dosages of medication to be effective.
