This has been the best experience ever with Dr. Abu-Samra! After God, he is the second person I trust with my health. He is very knowledgeable, caring, professional, and his bed manners are amazing! He was with me on the worst time of my life (Covid ICU 16 days) and not a single moment was he away keeping me, my family informed. If I ever move away I don't know what to do w/o his care!!! I also love his staff! They all know me by name. It is always fun to arrived to the 3rd floor every 2 weeks!!! 100% satisfaction.

Abu-samra while he knows medicine and its clear he adores a challenge, once he solves the problem then he is done with you. He has a bullying persona he will not listen. He treats his staff terribly and that causes the staff to treat patients horrible. His pa out right lies on documentation and questions are not welcome. Worst medical experience of my lifetime. Because of this I will have nothing to do with via christi. Abu-samra knew I had respitory failure simply walking to the mailbox he said I could return to work. I would definitely not call back. Falsifying reports is ur standard. Not trust worthy. I still have nightmares

My husband was in critical condition from complications from Covid at Via Christi St Francis. He was on a ventilator and wasn’t expected to pull through. Dr. Abu-Samra gave me hope at a time when I really needed it. He was watching my husband’s respiratory stats and let me know that it was encouraging. Today my husband is off a ventilator and just had his trach removed. He’s already for the most part, breathing on his own.Although we still have a long recovery ahead of us. I will forever be grateful and I have nothing but high praise for this pulmonology group. I gave God all the glory for my husband’s miraculous recovery, Dr. agreed. God uses people to do His work, I had a front row seat for all the miracles. Thank you Dr. Abu-Samra! You have been a Godsend to us! I will be forever grateful!

1.5 years of antibiotics and being told I had bronchitis by my family doctor. After two visits, Dr. Abu-Samra diagnosed my rare disease, for that I am forever grateful. I would be dead by now from my trachea closing if it wasn’t for him. God bless him! Amazing doctor!!!!!
