Hit Ice Monday morning on my way to work and totaled my Pathfinder, saw a post Tuesday afternoon on marketplace called David and decided to go to Kernersville and check out a Toyota Highlander. I would not recommend them at all. They told me nothing was mechanically wrong with the car. I haven’t even had the car for a month and have had to replace 3 parts and there are still issues. I bought the car and the next morning as soon as I hit 50 miles the check engine light came on with several codes. Which means they knew about the issues and just deleted the codes instead of fixing them. Then I asked about something else and was told “they all do that when they get old” when that has absolutely nothing to do with it and is a serious issue. The car has stalled on me several times at red lights, still has the check engine light after replacing the 3 parts. I emailed every time I noticed anything and they just tried to gaslight me even though I personally know a mechanic. I originally wanted the CRV but they wouldn’t work with me even though I had almost the entire price in cash, so I went with the accord because I was out of time. I’m just so disappointed. He seemed like a good, honest guy just for me to be screwed in the end. I paid 5k cash for a dud. Now I’m in an endless money pit trying to fix the car as I have children and am a delivery driver. It’s a lesson learned for sure

Bought a used van from this place, this particular vehicle happened to be riddled with problems and turned out to be the worst vehicle I've ever owned.

I can't entirely blame the dealer as I didn't perform my due diligence in terms of having an outside mechanic make an inspection of the car, not just the NC emissions inspection but actually assess the mechanical condition of the vehicle. Further, with the problems this vehicle had, there is no way he could have performed the necessary repairs and still made any money on it.

The transaction itself was legitimate, smooth and I received my documents/plates in a timely manner.

I would strongly advise that you must take your time and pay for a mechanical inspection from an outside mechanic, especially if you are inexperienced with cars or not able to work on cars.

I'm giving a 2 star review because the quality of the car was so poor, but this experience could have easily been a five star review if I had gotten a reliable working vehicle. Do not rush a purchase through regardless of the circumstance - you must get an outside inspection, as with any used car dealership.
