Unfortunately the girls working there are very rude , especially towards elderly , my father was always upset and complaining about the girls and their attitude , I wouldn’t believe it until I started dealing with prescription's! One of the girls made my father cry and feel useless and dumb .
This is very serious . Today they very so rude to me on the phone , I was asking for my mothers prescription she said it will take 5 days , I said when I called you you week ago you said come 2 days before my mother finishes her medication , my mother will finish her medication on Saturday , all she did was change your pharmacy, and started shouting , and the she said or you can get emergency medication right at the end and hung up ! The lady manager is even worse , I will contact NHS for this matter !

My mom who's an older woman and doesn't speak English very well had to come back three times for the prescription, because the person working there made a mistake and gave her the wrong prescription. Before she came back for the third time I've called to confirm with them, the girl on the phone was arguing with me saying it was my mom's fault. When my mom went again she tried complaining to the lady working there, instead of apologising - the lady laughed in her face!

I collect prescriptions for my friend who is 83 . My friend has high blood pressure and had a stroke in 2023.

My friend called the pharmacy last week and asked for enalapril ( a medication for high blood pressure) and statin. They told my friend BOTH medications would be ready for collection on Wed, the 17t July.

My friend went there and they gave only statin to my friend. I went there and asked for the enalapril. They told me they wouldn't give it to me because my friend had enough enalapril until August. They also said they were "chasing" it. Rather confusing.

So I asked for a few extra tablets until the matter is cleared. They refused to provide them. It upset me tremendously because I am very worried about my friend's health.

My friend collapsed at a London underground station last month and people called an ambulance. My friend got better and came back home without going to a hospital. The thought of my friend, an adorable person who is liked by everybody, laying on the floor and surrounded by strange people in a train station haunts me.

Again, the staff's refusal to provide an essential medicine to my friend upset me . I said no, my friend doesn't have enalapril and needs it. My friend is 83 and if anything happens to my friend I will report the pharmacy.

I also said they have no compassion and in this case they shouldn't work in a pharmacy. It shocked me that people working in a pharmacy would refuse a few tablets to a 83 year old person who could have a stroke without that medication.

Last year I did a news story about ageism in the UK. The UK is the most ageist country in Europe according to research. The EHRC says that more people complain about experiencing ageism than any other discrimination, including racism and sexism. The UN says that one in two people in the world holds ageist views.

I think people just don't care about the elderly and don't realise how important is the medication they take. It turned out that my friend had a box of enalapril at home. It had been misplaced and I couldn't find it when I first looked for it. But my friend could have lost the box or there could be a mistake in the input of data on my friend's medical records. In any case , they should not have refused extra tablets until the matter had been cleared.

The pharmacy called my friend saying they would not provide medication for her anymore because I was never polite in the times I went there. It's odd because all I do, 90% of the time, is to ask for the prescription, check it, say "thank you" and leave. I said more than ten words only when something went wrong. It seems to me that they have captive customers and do business mainly with NHS prescriptions so they don't feel they need to be nice to customers and can comfortably ignore the business motto "the customer is always right". We can't change now but will go to a more professional pharmacy next month. One that doesn't rely on NHS prescriptions only.

P.S.Update: We change the pharmacy and now my friend's prescriptions go to a far better pharmacy. A professional pharmacy, not one which relies on NHS only and doesn't care about customers as they think they have "captive customers". This new pharmacy? They have the medicines next day. We always had to wait three or four days when using H. Lloyd. And this new pharmacy sometimes even provides the real thing, not a generic!

Manager denied me help because she was angry. Absolutely the worst place I’ve been to in my life. So rude and unhelpful. Walk up high street Ken and you’ll get better service in McDonald’s.

We went there as a first time visiting a pharmacy after moving to UK. Nika was extremely helpful and made necessarily calls prior to going to another pharmacy. We got what we needed

Well, I went there yesterday to get my flight details printed. There was an elderly gentleman, young woman and another man working at that time. This old gentleman owns the pharmacy , I believe. It was my turn and he never said Hi. He wasn't interested in what I want. I said Hi twice. Then the 3rd time he looked at me. I asked for print out. He asked me to wait. Then he started serving other customers. Waited there for 15 minutes. I then kept asking "are you going to do my printout". He eventually did it. But I believe his printer had some issues and it didn't print everything. So I said that is not what exactly I wanted. Then he asked me to move aside and started serving other customers again. I had to leave, as I already wasted 20 minutes. This gentleman doesn't have any manners. Though he does highway robbery (ÂŁ3 for printing out the first page and ÂŁ1 per page thereafter for black &white), he doesn't treat the Customers good. Awful and Appalling customer service. Please avoid this place if you can and save your time and respect!
