For this to be a plus, they sure don’t stock up and curbside wait times are horrendous. Line be down the street. You literally have to cut the line to get to a space if they alert you that your order is ready. They definitely need to get more organized in that department.

I’m going to HEB because , with everything going on HEB showed to have fair values towards their customers, however it saddens me that employees at HEB aren’t very friendly, a customer Infront of me was greeted and treated with lots of enthusiasm. When it was my turn I had to greet the cashier and while she was courteous enough to answer back she immediately began a conversation with the associate who was bagging my items, tried her best to avoid eye contact and again only said bye to me after I had wished her an amazing day. To The wonderful lady bagging , thank you for YOUR kindness. To cashier MAUDE S. I’m sorry I don’t fit into your criteria for interaction due to my ethnic background.

Always a great experience if you come here early in the morning or late in the evening to avoid the crowds. Love the self checkout and they finally take tap to pay. Always a great selection of Texas foods at this location. And they also had the salsa I was looking for so score there!

Today I made a quick trip to get only 7 items. Only one line was open for "15 items or less" earlier, so that was not fun. And guess a woman with probably 70-80 items (her cart was FULL!) was loading all her stuffs like nothing, when all of us behind were waiting. The cashier (IVY) was very kind not to rejecting her, but that was INCREDIBLE RUDE for the rest waiting in line. She apologized to the cashier at the end! yeah sure! she said didn't read was for only 15 items....that was a despicable lie! I was looking for a supervisor the whole time to complain but didn't see any.
This cannot be happening in an early Saturday morning when many go to make groceries as many we work M-F. And this woman was not even a senior.
I'm sure all the line behind me was upset, but didn't want to fight with her, she didn't look at us, she was in her own zone.
Please, NEXT TIME, open more lines for 15 items or less, again, that was a very long wait, as the cashier also had to help her put in bags all her 80 items, was nobody helping bagging.

Produce is fresh and for the most part good quality. Workers act like it’s a burden to help you, they see you standing to order fresh seafood and act like they can’t see you, I did an experiment because I had time, 43 minutes, no one asked what I needed. I tried to get someone’s attention they acted like I wasn’t there! Time to find new HEB in the area.

Busy on the weekends, but I tend to always find what I'm looking for here. Store is kept clean, and the staff is always helpful when you have a question or need assistance.
On weekday evenings, it is a much calmer environment for those that do not like large crowds at the store. I can usually get in and out within 5-10 minutes then, which is great. There's normally enough checkers for the traffic during the week to provide good-quality service.

Bought wine that was on a special deal last 11/29/24 at 6pm. I asked assistance from one of HEB staff, Lauren. I was discriminated by her and was unapproachable. I was trying to explain to her the wine I bought has 10% discount as said on the shelf. Since I am Asian, she was implying that I didn't understand what was on the shelf and the amount was already deducted on the receipt. I went back to the wine aisle and saw Mr Logan who was kind enough to correct the price and told Lauren to give me a refund.

I would have given HEB one star. Thanks to Mr Logan for attentively listening to my inquiry and kind enough to sort it out. That's costumer service.

I suggest Lauren needs to attend another training for costumer service, specially in DEI. It matters . A lot!!!
